Bonneville School District has designated the following personally identifiable student information as directory information that may be disclosed to third parties without parental consent, including publication of this information on the District’s website and social media pages:
- name
- address
- gender
- grade level
- birth date
- parents’/guardians’ names and addresses
- academic awards, degrees, and honors
- information related to school-sponsored activities and organizations
- major field of study
- school enrollment
Under the federal and state law, school districts are required to distribute lists of high school juniors and seniors (i.e., 17 years and older) with their names, addresses, and telephone numbers to Idaho colleges and universities and United States Armed Forces recruiting agencies, However, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act provides parents/guardians the option to withhold the release of this information each year.
