D93 News - September 26, 2024

Posted Date: 09/26/2024

Welcome to this week’s episode of D93 News presented by Idaho Farm Bureau! We’re celebrating Homecoming Week at Thunder Ridge, but our top story comes from Ammon Elementary, where exciting developments are underway.

Voters recently approved funding for a number of projects, and we had the chance to tour the new cafeteria—an important upgrade for the school community. We extend our thanks to the voters for their continued support.

In other news, Tiebreaker Elementary hosted a transformative staff retreat at LaBelle Lake, focusing on professional development and team-building. The event inspired staff members to bring fresh ideas and strategies back to the classroom.

Finally, Thunder Ridge High School is gearing up for their Homecoming Parade, which will take place this Friday. The parade will travel through various D93 neighborhoods, beginning at Iona Square.

Here’s the parade route and schedule:

  • *1:20 p.m.* – Iona Elementary
  • *1:30 p.m.* – Country Haven Subdivision
  • *1:35 p.m.* – Fall River/Taylors Crossing
  • *1:45 p.m.* – Cloverdale Elementary
  • *1:55 p.m.* – Thunder Ridge High School
  • *2:00 p.m.* – Black Canyon Middle School
