Here’s what you’ll find this week on D93 News:

The COVID surge continues to hit the District. We’ll check with Superintendent Woolstenhulme to see what scenarios he thinks could play out in the coming weeks. 

The Idaho Office of Highway Safety, in partnership with State Farm Insurance, is pleased to present the Idaho Battle of the Belts competition! In this competition, they invite high school students across Idaho to develop plans for increasing seat belt use in their high schools and their communities and the opportunity to compete for up to $2,500 in student college scholarship awards!

This week’s Drive Well Idaho Drive of the Week presented by the Idaho Office of Highway Safety features a couple of brothers from Hillcrest, teaming up for a monster dunk. Sportsline’s Eric Moon has the highlights. 

Substitutes Needed! We need more parents and patrons to help us keep our schools open over the next few weeks of this spike in COVID cases. Please share this information with anyone who may be willing to help. We are likely looking at longer extended closures if we do not have more people available to help substitute, even on a short-term basis.
