Dr. Scott Woolstenhulme - Superintendent
Parents and Patrons of Bonneville School District:
I cannot tell you how excited and humbled I am to have been asked to serve as the next superintendent of Bonneville School District. Each day, you entrust us to teach your children and to keep them safe and protected. This is an awesome responsibility that I share with our principals, teachers, and many other important staff members.
I grew up on a small farm just outside of Victor, where I spent my summers working with my dad who is a Civil Engineer and surveyor. After teaching at Shelley High School for five years, I came to Hillcrest High School in 2004 as an assistant principal. Two years later, my wife Lindsey and I decided to move to Ammon. Living here, where our children attend District 93 schools, and getting to know so many of you has been a wonderful experience.
After working at Hillcrest for five years, I became the principal of Cloverdale Elementary. Then in 2010, I accepted a position as the District School Improvement Coordinator. Since then, I have also served as the Director of Assessment, Director of Technology, Director of Human Resources, and Assistant Superintendent. Through each of these responsibilities, I have had many opportunities to work with our students, teachers, principals, custodians, bus drivers, cooks, paraprofessionals, school secretaries, and other staff members. Those opportunities have shown me that our district is blessed with committed and caring professionals who strive each day to make a difference in the lives of our children. Twenty-five years ago, that desire to make a difference for others inspired me to become a teacher, and it is still drives my work every day. I know that many, if not all, of our staff members feel the same way.
The shared mission of our school district is to design success for every student. As the superintendent, I will work each day to help us realize that mission. Parents are an essential part of the work to design success for our students. Schools cannot do that work alone. Our vision is to create confident learners who think, read, write, solve problems, and share their talents fearlessly. Over the coming months, we will share ways that you can help us in that important work. I hope you will join our efforts.
Will you please take a moment to answer a few questions to share with me how you feel our district is performing? Your feedback is essential to help us learn where we need to focus our efforts to improve. Here is a link to a survey that should take about five minutes to complete:

When I was the principal at Cloverdale Elementary, our school motto was “Nothing less than our best.” I promise that you will have nothing less than my best as the superintendent of Bonneville School District. I am grateful for your trust and support.
Sincerely,
Scott Woolstenhulme
